Fees
Medicare – to be eligible for Medicare, you must have a referral and a GP MHTP. This allows you to claim a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. There is an out of pocket cost for sessions under Medicare as the rebate is less than the cost of a session. Please talk to your GP about getting a referral.
DVA – If you have a White or Gold card and a referral from your GP, you do not need to pay. Arbor Psychology will bill the Department of Veterans Affairs directly for your sessions.
WorkCover – If you have been injured at work (physical or psychological injury) you may be eligible for psychological treatment to help you to recover from a psychological injury, or cope with a physical injury, or to help you get back to work safely and with as little stress as possible. Talk to your GP about a referral to Arbor Psychology, and about lodging a claim if you haven’t already done so. Arbor Psychology will bill WorkCover directly for your sessions.
NDIS – If you are self-managed or plan-managed, you can access psychological services at Arbor Psychology. The full fee, as per the NDIS table of costs, is payable for your sessions.
National Redress Scheme – If you are eligible for funding under this scheme, you will have a Redress ID and you can make an appointment directly with Arbor Psychology.
Private – If you are paying privately, you do not need a referral and the fee is payable on the day. You may be able to claim through your private health insurance. You need to check this with your health insurance provider. Please call to discuss fees.
Reports, Letters, and Assessments – Any special reports, letters, or assessments you require that are not covered by your funding body will attract a fee. Please call to discuss.
